Limited Edition Z10 working on Verizon Wireless

Many of you may look at this picture and ask yourself how? The answer is simple. I gutted both the LE and my Verizon Z10 and swapped the internals.

I didn't take any pictures while I was doing the tear down, but I'll explain the basics below. There are plenty of teardown on the Internet if you search for them.

Tools needed: T4 screwdriver.
Time required: 10-15 minutes.

The swap is relatively simple, 8 screws and the removal of the back housing. There are 5  ribbon cables to detach, after that the mainboards just pops out. Make the swap of the mainboards making sure to hook your ribbon cables back up. You will also need to swap the back housing as the GSM rear housing has some connectors that th CDMA version does not. Replace all screws, replace battery and reboot your LE with all functions now working on Verizon network.
